Our time here in Benin has flown by, and we’ve started thinking about what comes next. As many of you know, we didn’t come out to West Africa fully funded, and although there were those who joined our support team after we came out, some were not able to give. We’ve been hovering around 80% support since we’ve been here, which funds our work until July. When we got news that Steve’s sister is getting married that same month, we prayerfully decided to finish with JourneyCorps at that time. We’ve been blessed to be able to see what we’ve come to see, do what we’ve come to do, and grow deeper in our understanding of God’s global mission, so this is not a disappointment in any way.
As far as our future goes...
Sometimes we think we're so smart and have everything figured out...
Sometimes, when we think about it, we get a little anxious...or whatever that face is supposed to mean.
At this point, we honestly don't know what's next - we want God to tell us our next steps and sometimes are frustrated when He doesn't...
....but we're always pleasantly suprised by His love, grace, and GREAT works...
and we know that when He tells us, He's always got great plans for us, and we'll share with you when He lets us know!
